The install of Thunderbird portable, GPG & Enigmail
Why portable?
You can use it without changing anything on your installed email program – it allows you to experiment.
You can transfer all your accounts or settings if you wish.
You can install to any directory or onto a flash drive and take your settings, email and more with you.
Use them on any Windows computer. All without leaving any personal data behind.

GPG 1.4.7
Enigmail 0.95.3
Before you start you should download:-
1. Thunderbird portable
2. GPG
3. Enigmail
The instructions given are specifically for portable in part1.
Part2 installed and portable edition instructions are the same.

OTHER SETTINGS change these once you have installed. – Not included in flash show.
JUNK FILTERS tools> account settings> Junk settings (all accounts and local folders)
JUNK FILTERS2 Options> Privacy> Junk
DEFAULT EMAIL TO TXT tools> account settings>Composition and Addressing>turn off html for accounts where you will be encrypting email
To install a spellchecker dictionary
Installing a new dictionary is easy. Save the dictionary file locally on your hard drive (right click>save as).
Under Tools > Extensions, press the Install button and then select the file you saved.
It will appear in the list of available dictionaries in the spell checker dialog.
